Oh Cranberries, How We Love Thee!!
Even if you are choosing to skip the turkey this holiday season, it does not mean you need to skip the fabulousness of cranberries.
The fresh lively flavor is great with steamed veggies, mashed potatoes or just a spoonful on a nice big green salad.
Even thou we are cooking them here there is still lots to nourish you and support you to experience the decadence of the season.
**Cranberry Sauce Absolutely**
24 oz cranberries (approx 5 cups)
2 teaspoons nutmeg
½ cup honey (or more to taste)
1 large orange zested and juiced
Add all ingredients to a large saucepan on medium heat and cook until cranberries are soft and sauce becomes thick. Put in a container once cooled and store in the refrigerator to use with as many dishes as you can!
